Join three of Canada's premier nature photographers, Darwin Wiggett, John E. Marriott, and Samantha Chrysanthou, for the second annual SNAP! Nature Photography Workshop from October 27-30, 2011 at Baker Creek Chalets in world-renowned Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies.
Join us for a fantastic weekend of nature photography, including 7 hours of classroom photo instruction and image critiques, and more than 20 hours in the field at spectacular locations like Lake Louise, Herbert Lake, Bow Lake, Mosquito Creek, Baker Creek and Johnston Canyon. 2009 – 2010 YEAR SUMMARY
This past year was very informative for our group. Listed below are some of the topics presented and discussed at our regular meetings:

We took photo outings this year to the Gravebourg Library, Assiniboia Museum and the Shurniak Farm.
Our Club displayed photographs at Rockglen’s Art in the Park. Members also took pictures for the Relay for Life.
This year we hosted a Photo Shop Class and had guest speaker Marg Wiebe share her photographic expertise.
Our Photo Competition had great success again with 59 participants & 291 entries.

2008 – 2009 YEAR SUMMARY
This past year was very informative for our group. Listed below are some of the topics presented and discussed at our regular meetings:
• Skills in Photography
• Macros
• Critiquing Photos
• Low Light photography
We took a road trip to the Sukanen Ship Museum south of Moose Jaw. There we challenged ourselves to experiment with low light photography.
Our Club members displayed photographs at Rockglen's Art in the Paark and the Kay Cristo room at the Prince of Wales in Assiniboia.
Members of our club also took pictures fo the Relay for Life and In Motion events.
Our Photo Competition had new categories this year and were very well received with 59 participants and 291 entries. This year we hosted our first bi-annual Photo Quest.
Several members of our club attended workshops at Emma Lake and Cypress Hills again this year.
